Biography
Kevin Williams is
becoming one of the most creative and brightest
comedians performing today. Kevin’s brand of humor
is best described as “in your face silliness!” With
his mix of observational humor and ability to infuse
music in to act makes his performance a must see!
Because of this Kevin has always been able for
diverse audiences. He has not only entertained
audiences though out the country but has performed
over seas in Germany and Japan.

Born on the South side of
Chicago, Kevin grew up in the Harold Ickes Housing
Projects. After he graduated high he stayed in
Chicago worked different jobs before deciding to
join the Army. This is where Kevin began to develop
his sense of humor. “Seeing various environments and
people I learned that what makes us different can be
funny” states Kevin. After serving five years in the
Army, Kevin decided to enlist in the U.S. Coast
Guard. After attending a comedy club where the
comedian was not particularly funny, he was dared to
give it a try at an open mic. This is where Kevin
fell in love with performing stand-up comedy. In
1997 Kevin won “The Funniest Person in the Military”
Comedy Contest in New York.

During his 10 years in comedy,
Kevin has won several other comedy contests
including the Chicago Comedy Competition in 2005. He
has opened for comedians such as D.L. Hughley,
Cedric the Entertainer and Christopher Titus. He has
also appeared on B.E.T’s Comic View, Last Comic
Standing and The Bob and Tom Show.
Kevin is continually creating new
material. He has written for other up and coming
comedian and worked as a morning radio personality.
